LOST EPISODES IN AMERICAN HISTORY TOUR

I am thrilled to invite you to join us on an exclusive American Citizenship journey to Washington, DC. This patriotic journey, arranged by travel experts at Christian Tours of America, is based on the exciting Lost Episodes series by noted Christian historian Dr. Kenyn Cureton. By visiting important sites in America’s history and hearing the stories of our God-inspired Founding Fathers, you will understand more deeply their unshakeable faith in Biblical principles. This tour will empower participants to stand firmly against further erosion of our Christian rights. This journey is one of education, inspiration, and encouragement for all ages. From Capitol Hill to the Smithsonian, you will develop a new sense of appreciation for the Christian heritage of our great nation. Touring important national treasures such as Arlington National Cemetery and the Vietnam, Korean, Lincoln, Jefferson and Iwo Jima Memorials further reinforce the themes of patriotism, sacrifice and God’s influence. This exclusive journey is an opportunity every American Christian should experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is included in the trip price? A: The trip price is all-inclusive except for transportation to and from Washington, D.C. It is also the responsibility of the traveler to provide his/her own transportation to and from the initial meeting location. From that point on, CTA will provide all meals, hotel accommodations, entrance fees, guide fees, insurance, tips, and ground transportation for the entirety of the tour. While CTA provides tip fees in the cost of the tour, we also encourage participants to bless their driver and guide with an additional tip if they feel it is earned. This is not mandatory. Q: What if I need to cancel? A: Contact Christian Tours of America as soon as you know you need to cancel. Money will be refunded in accordance with the cancellation policy described in the Terms and Conditions.

A Message From Dr. Kenyn Cureton, PhD

Q: What is the Payment Protection Plan? A: The Payment Protection Plan protects your payments (minus the cost of the program fee) in the event you or CTA needs to cancel at any time prior to the trip departure (merchandise expense, handling or processing fees, and any applicable penalties are earned at the time of each transaction and are not subject to refund.) The program also guarantees payment for the cost of a participant’s transportation home if a personal emergency requires early departure. Q: Will I receive monthly bills? A: After registration, the trip participant will receive a letter by mail from CTA. Included in the mail will be a confirmation and coupons for payment installments. These payments are suggested but not mandatory. Q: In what types of restaurants will we be eating? A: Most breakfasts will be served buffet style at the hotel. Lunches and dinners vary from cafes to buffets to sit-down restaurants. On occasion, we also use food courts such as the one found at Union Station. CTA strives to provide quality and variety in all of our restaurant choices. Q: What if I have a food allergy? A: Please alert CTA upon registration if you have any food allergies. CTA will seek to accommodate the reasonable dietary needs of all participants.  Q: Do I get to choose my own roommates? A: You will have the opportunity to submit roommate requests to your tour director. Q: How will roommates be assigned? A: CTA will assign roommates based on the requests of all participants. Unless permitted, you will not be placed in a room with a complete stranger. Q: What if I don’t have a roommate? A: If you are traveling alone and do not have a roommate, you can request and pay for a single room. You can also request to go “potluck” and be placed in a room with another single participant. Q: In what types of hotels will we stay? A: CTA typically uses hotel chains such as Hilton, Hyatt, Doubletree, Sheraton, Embassy Suites, and Marriott. We base our hotel choices on customer service, location, cleanliness, accommodations, meals, and our own participant reviews. Q: How do I know where to meet? A: You will be provided with all necessary travel information, including the meeting location, several weeks prior to the tour. Q: What is the minimum age for traveling alone? A: The minimum age for a single traveler is 18.
